DAY1
Sea and Nature Adventure Museum “SATOUMI”
Approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes by car from Kochi Ryoma Airport. Located at the southernmost tip of Shikoku, Tosa Shimizu City is amazed by the magnificent scenery and beauty created by nature no matter where you visit the sea, mountains, rivers, and anywhere you visit.
It is also the first place in Japan where the main stream is on the shore, and the only coast in the country where you can see the Kuroshio current (Usubae-Usubae in the west) in the Pacific Ocean, Cape Ashizuri Lighthouse, one of the largest lighthouses in Japan where you can see the Pacific Ocean.

Kobo Daishi, which was the Buddhist monk of the Heian period and later opened the Shingon sect, was in a difficult place, so there are many attractive spots such as "Minokoshi Coast" lined with strange shaped rocks that are said to have left behind!

Among them, the Ashizuri Sea Museum "SATOUMI", which realistically reproduces the ecosystem of "Tatsukushi Bay" in Tosa Shimizu City in the aquarium, is not only in the area around Ashizuri, but also in the deep sea off Muroto in the eastern part of Kochi Prefecture. You can meet 15,000 creatures of about 350 species.

old growth forest of Ashizuri → Tatsukushi Bay → Sea of Ashizuri → Open sea → It is shown along the deep sea and the path where water flows through forests and rivers to the sea, and you can see various creatures living in the environment in the process. At SATOUMI, you can not only enjoy watching and enjoying the exhibition, but also learn about nature and ecosystems that nurture life firmly.

In the sea turtle exhibition space, the point is to squat down a little and lower your eyes!
You can see the sight of sea turtles flying in the sky. It is also an interesting spot to take pictures, so please try it out.

"Tatsukushi Bay Water Tank" is a faithful reproduction of the underwater world of "Tatsukushi Bay" spreading in front of SATOUMI.

This aquarium of Osako Power was created based on the results of the staff actually diving into the sea and investigating the underwater environment, and Tatsukushi Bay itself!

Some of the fish swimming have actually caught in the sea by breeders.

After enjoying the world of the sea, take a break at the cafe in the hotel. There are also drinks such as coffee and tapioca mango, and snacks such as curry and margherita. Enjoy a relaxing time while enjoying the view of the ocean view.
Camp field "Snow Peak Tosa Shimizu" where you can feel the sea

Snow Peak Tosa Shimizu Camp Field, a 4-minute walk from Ashizuri Kaiyokan SATOUMI, is the first placequasi-national park in Japan to camp in Tatsukushi Sea Park.

Snow Peak is a campsite operated by Snow Peak, an outdoor brand that is popular in the recent camp boom. Snow Peak’s first sea-front field is a spacious and open site with 40 camp sites divided into five areas, and 12 mobile houses "JYUBAKO-" jointly developed with global architect Kuma Kengo. From the mobile house area, walk 30 seconds to the transparent sea! The good location where you can go to the sea immediately is attractive. A wide range of camper, from outside the prefecture, from solos to families, is looking forward to this field blessed with nature.
Let's stay at the mobile house "JYUBAKO-"!
Kuma Kengo has always wanted to make a trip architecture. And "JYUBAKO-" was born as a box that frees us to live.

In the room, there are popular Snow Peak products such as tables, chairs, tableware necessary for eating and drinking, as well as beds and air conditioning. It is recommended for beginners and children as you can spend comfortably while feeling the outdoors.
On the premises, you can also experience firewood splitting and Kochi's specialty "Katsuo straw grilled".
In addition, there is a directly managed store with a wide variety of lineups such as Snow Peak camp gears and apparel. You can pick up and see the products you want, and you can buy them on the spot.

"Snow Peak Tosa Shimizu Camp Field" where you can enjoy camping freely in front of the sea where you can meet subtropics marine life and coral crowds. Please enjoy the special "field play" unique to this place, which is different from usual.
DAY2
Enjoy snorkeling at Premium Beach!
About 1,200 years ago, when Kobo Daishi trained in Cape Ashizuri, it was a difficult place to miss the Minokoshi coast. Among them, Bannoko Beach, which was difficult to enter from land, was located in a place only by boat, and it was a place where nature was left as it was because it was not accessible by human hands. On a beautiful secret beach that no one has visited, you can enjoy snorkeling at "Malin Club Joey".

You can go to Bannoko Beach, which is said to be the premium beach in Tatsukushi, by boat or banana boat.

When you arrive at the beach, you will be greeted by white sandy beaches, large sky, and a luxurious location where you can own the sea! Spending time on an uninhabited island can forget the usual busy daily life and relax in nature.

On the beach full of private feeling that spreads out in front of you, you can see the strange rocks unique to Tosa Shimizu formed by waves and wind eclipses up close, so it is also recommended to observe natural art.

After enjoying the unique beauty of the rock, you will trip to the world of the sea to meet the Shikoro coral, a natural monument of Kochi Prefecture and one of the largest in Japan!

If you look into the sea while snorkeling, you will find a lot of large shikoro corals, edas corals and colorful cute tropical fish that live there! At "Malin Club Joey", experienced staff will guide you through the sea of Tatsukushi with various episodes, so you can not only experience beautiful but also interesting underwater walks.
