In Kochi Prefecture, there are many spots in various places where you can walk a lot just by sightseeing without having to be conscious of "walking". Therefore, this project is to count on a pedometer how many steps will be taken when walking in a large tourist spot! This time, the first step, is "Kochi Prefectural Noichi Zoological Park". Please look forward to the results of how many steps you will take if you go around the park while looking at the animals!

"Noichi Zoo Park" where you can enjoy nature walks

"Kochi Prefectural Noichi Zoo Park" is located in an easy-to-access location, 20 minutes by car from Kochi Expressway Nankoku IC and 10 minutes by car from Kochi Ryoma Airport. The park, which opened in 1991, is characterized by the fact that animals live in an environment close to nature that recreates the habitat. In 2019 and 2020, it won the first place in the Japan Zoo and Aquarium Rankings, a tourist word-of-mouth site, and in 2020, it has become increasingly popular in recent years, with the number of visitors exceeding 5 million.

Noichi Zoological Park where about 1,100 animals of about 100 species live. About 20 hectares of the park consists of four zones: "Temperate Forest", "Tropical Forest", "Africa-Australia Zone", and "Jungle Museum", and "Children's Zoo". When you hear 20 hectares, you may think, "It's hard to walk!" But in fact, you can walk slowly one lap in about two hours.

I visited at 9:30 a.m. on the opening hours. In fact, early morning is a recommended time when zoo animals are active. The animals that came out to the exhibition hall from the animal house move around looking for food hidden in various places (inventions to bring out the original animal behavior: environmental enrichment), and communicate with friends. You will show a lot of attractive expressions.

After passing the entrance gate, you will arrive at the first zone temperate forest. The temperate zone is distributed in Europe, East Asia, North and South America, and in this zone you can see American beavers and red pandas.

In the park, flat paths and gentle slopes are maintained. It is surrounded by greenery, so it is full of cool shades of trees. There are also arbors in some places, making it easier for children and adults, as well as fathers and mothers who push strollers to walk.

As you proceed through the temperate forest, you will arrive at the tropical forest next time. Tropices are mainly distributed in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central and South America. In a vast exhibition hall without cages, a group of chimpanzees live in Yuyu.

There is also a figure of inserting a stick into an artificial ant mound and licking apple juice.

One-year-old Akaru is holding firmly in the stomach of her mother coral and taking a walk together.

The silotenenagazaru moves dynamically over a tower 10 meters above the ground.

A good friend of sirotenagazaru.

A message? “H” and “K”? 。 I'd like to take a picture, laugh.

A cave area where you can see nocturnal animals, such as men owls and Egyptian rouset giant bats flying in the dark.

So far, about half has passed. I don't dare to check how many steps I walked, but expect the result of the goal! By the way, even for half a lap alone, people who lack exercise will feel the comfort of walking. When I looked at cute animals while blowing in the southern wind, where did I get tired? I want to watch the cockle all the time! I wonder if I will return to the way I came to see Shiratenagazaru once more ... I feel like that.

Next, we headed to the Africa-Australia zone. This area is an area where the slope continues. Let's walk slowly while hydrating.

A lot of trees and flowers are planted on both sides of the garden road. This is also at Noichi Animal Park. Enjoy a stroll while watching the greenery and seasonal flowers.

There is a large Savannah exhibition hall in the Africa-Australia zone where you can see the grassy Amimekirin and Grant zebra. It looks like a parent and child of Amimekilin, but in fact it's a pair of Rintaro-kun and Non-chan.

It's very popular. I'm impressed by the magnificent appearance! Of the two hashbiroko, Kashishishi-chan was at the outdoor exhibition hall on this day.

Dance? Not ... After a fierce battle, finally a giant kangaroo.

Next is the Jungle Museum.

This is the largest tropical rain forest building in Japan. reptile and fish, as well as rare animals from Central and South America and Southeast Asia are on display.

A red bear that moves around actively in search of food placed in scattered pieces.

The two bintrongs climb trees slowly toward their favorite place.

After leaving the Jungle Museum, head to the Children's Zoo, the last area where the Humboldt penguins are located.

A lovely prairie dog with a single piece of paper whether it is in service or abandoned service.

If you pass the Karakuri clock at the Children's Zoo, one lap is over.

How many steps were you?

The result is about 5,000 steps!

When I looked at the animals, time passed so quickly, so I was walking so much! I'm surprised. The garden path of Noichi Zoological Park has a slow and urgent, so it was a comfortable exercise while taking a leisurely stroll.

It's good to walk for health, everyone knows it. However, even if you set a goal of "walking 5,000 steps a day!", beginners will be wondering what to do. For such people, we recommend walking around a fun sightseeing spot where you can walk a lot without realizing it! Noichi Zoological Park is a spot for two birds with one stone, where cute animals can get energy and eliminate lack of exercise.

Benchs are set up in various places in the park, so please take a break and enjoy a stroll at your own pace.

There is also a "picnic square" with a fluffy dome and a little fountain. Depending on how to play, 1,000 or 2,000 steps can be added.

After playing well, it is a good idea to bring your lunch and spend a relaxing time.

There is also a restaurant "Rakuon" in the park where you can enjoy lunch.

Following the Noichi Zoological Park, which has been about 5,000 steps, you will also stroll the Kochi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden, which is attracting attention in the serial TV novel "Ranman"!

Please look forward to how many steps you will take!
