Sports classes are held in various genres such as canoeing, soccer, ground golf, squash valley, aerobics and Tai Chi, so it is also attractive to be able to find a classroom that suits you.
In 2018, we launched COMODO URANOUCHI, where you can experience various marine sports, and we have increased opportunities to move your body while playing and interact with sports more casually.
Uranouchi Bay and Sports
Mr. Kawahara, director of the NPO Susaki Sports Club, started playing soccer since childhood, worked at a youth team in Jubilo Iwata, and turned to futsal around the age of 20. He is a former futsal representative from Japan who participated in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in 2004, 2008 and 2012. He retired from active duty in 2015 and moved from Shizuoka Prefecture where he lived to Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture.
During his active era, he visited the "Susaki Municipal Sports Center" at a futsal spread event, his wife's parents' house was Susaki City, and "I wanted to live in a place where children can live at ease while interacting with nature." I decided to move to Susaki City from various thoughts, such as "I want to make use of my experience in futsal and work in sports." Currently, as the director, he is focusing on the management and operation of the entire facility.

Kawahara says, "One of the reasons why canoes and kayaks are spreading in Susaki City is the" Susaki City Dragon Canoe Tournament "." In Susaki City, students from the shipbuilding department of Kochi Prefectural Suzaki Technical High School (now Kochi Prefectural Suzaki General High School) donated one dragon boat created by them to the city. The "Susaki City Dragon Canoe Tournament" has been held since 1999, and the "NPO Susaki Sports Club" has been held to convey the appeal of Dragon Canoe to more people.

After that, I started to experience sea kayaking in order to make it easier to enjoy canoeing, and canoeing and kayaking in Uranouchi Bay gradually attracted attention, and now a canoe club is formed at local high schools, It became a popular area so that the canoe team of the university and the canoe team visited the training camp.
"The development of water sports is only due to the wonderful environment of Uranouchi Bay," says Kawahara. Uranouchi Bay, which has a depth of about 12 km, is less susceptible to the waves because of the Yokonami Peninsula, which is lined with mountains on the Pacific side, is a perfect place to enjoy water sports such as canoeing, sea kayaking, and SUP. It seems.

COMODO URANOUCHI, which started in 2018, offers marine sports experiences that anyone can enjoy regardless of their mind, such as sea kayaks and saps, as well as marine athletics, water balloons, and banana boats.
"In a modern age where children are away from the sea, there is an environment where they can play safely and happily with adults, so I hope you come once. There are many attractive spots around the area, such as facilities where you can enjoy raft fishing experience, shops where you can enjoy fresh shellfish, and shops where you can enjoy game meat, so you can enjoy it all day long.
