"Scenery" in Kochi Prefecture
Kochi Prefecture, which has the third largest area in Japan to the total population. Life is always with nature, and is utilized by the blessings of mountains, rivers and seas. Shikoku Karst Tengu Highland, which stretches out at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level, is known as the "Sorokai in the Sky" as a famous spot for viewing the sea of clouds and the starry sky. Ayu and tenaga shrimp are caught in the Shimanto River and Niyodo River, which are famous as clear streams, enrich the food. On the coast, the nature that has changed over time, such as Cape Ashizuri-misaki, the southernmost tip of Shikoku, and Cape Muroto, a UNESCO Global Geopark, remains, so you can feel the history.
