Open water swimming is a long-distance swimming competition that takes place in natural waters such as the sea, rivers and lakes. The acronym for the name in English is abbreviated as OWS. Because it is susceptible to various external influences such as weather, tides, and living things, it is an event that requires not only the technology of swimming faster but also the knowledge and experience of swimming in nature, including crisis management.
