The outdoor facility "River Cruise" in Tosa Washi Craft Village QRAUD provides an activity plan for the Niyodo River.

First, experience the canoe. What you need can be rented, and how to ride and row a canoe is provided by a dedicated instructor, so even beginners can feel safe. First, let's apply at the front desk where you enter the front entrance of roadside rest area.

After changing clothes in the changing room, we will leave for a river walk by canoe. We arrived at the riverbank in about 5 minutes on foot. It is a river that could be seen from the train window, but when you stand nearby, the clear water surface spreads out in front of you, and you stop at a gentle but magnificent figure for a moment and watch it.

After receiving a lecture on basic canoe operation and precautions from the instructor, go into the river with the canoe. This is the beginning of an elegant walk.

Canoeing rowing while feeling the gentle flow of the river. With amazing transparency, you can see the fish swimming pleasantly. The colorful "Goshiki Stone" seen at the bottom of the river is unique to the Niyodo River. You can see the colorful stones flowing from the upper reaches with complex geological structures from the canoe.

Feel the time when the sound of nature flows along with the river to BGM, such as the sound of birdsong, the sound of the wind, and the sound of water that you hear when you paddle.

After enjoying the canoeing experience, return to roadside rest area and challenge Tosa Washi's "papermaking" experience.

"Tosa Washi" in Kochi Prefecture is one of the three major Japanese paper in Japan, along with "Echizen Washi" in Fukui Prefecture and "Mino Washi" in Gifu Prefecture. At Tosa Washi Craft Village QRAUD, you can experience "papermaking" of Tosa Washi, and you can make your own original postcard, colored paper, fan, etc. To commemorate your trip, enjoy the traditional crafts of Kochi. Active adventure with rafting 

On the second day, challenge rafting with the same river cruise as canoe! This is an activity where you can play with the clear stream with the whole body while riding a large rubber boat down the Niyodo River, so you can enjoy the excitement different from canoeing.

The start is Nagoshi sinking bridge with a total length of 191m, located about 3 minutes by car from Tosa Washi Craft Village QRAUD.

The Niyodo River has a gentle flow, so even those who are not good at swimming are OK. We also support experienced guides, so you can try with confidence. If you are with an adult, children over 3 years old can participate, and families can enjoy adventures.
